Handcrafted Bags Inspired by Travel, Memories & a True Love for Purses

My love for handbags didn’t start at a sewing machine - it started on the road. For years, I traveled all over the United States, and during every trip or vacation, I treated myself to a new purse. It became my favorite tradition.

Every handbag I brought home held a memory - a moment, a place, a feeling. I didn’t just collect bags… I collected experiences.

Those travels shaped me. Each city, each small town, each beautiful view reminded me how much joy there is in discovering something new. And every purse I picked up felt like a little piece of that moment I wanted to keep forever.

Over time, that simple joy grew into something deeper.

The more I collected, the more fascinated I became. The shapes, the textures, the craftsmanship, and the way the right bag can make you feel confident and put together. Eventually, a question came to me:

What if I could make them myself?

What started as curiosity quickly became a passion. I fell in love with choosing materials, cutting patterns, stitching pieces together, and watching a simple idea transform into something beautiful and functional. Before long, I wasn’t just buying handbags anymore — I was creating them.

Today, every Fanci Reign piece is handcrafted by me, from the first cut to the final stitch. I select every material, cut each panel, and sew every seam in my home studio. There’s no factory and no mass production - only thoughtful, intentional, small-batch handmade craftsmanship inspired by the same joy I felt discovering new bags across the country.
